Travel and parking

Please Note: The information on this page is preliminery and NOT necessarily the Final Details for the event. Please return to this page on or after 19th November when the Final Details will have been confirmed.

If anyone is planning to travel to the event either by public transport or in a Campervan or similar, please contact the Organiser.

Those travelling by car or motorcycle are advised to approach the event from the village of Walkington. At the crossroads (traffic lights) to the east of the village (GR: TA004374; w3w: codes.maddening.staging ; nearest PC: HU17 8RS), take the B1230 (ENE) towards Beverley. After approx. 2 km, you will drive over a cattle grid on to the Westwood and see the golf course clubhouse on your right. Take the next left on to Walkington Road shortly after the turning to the golf clubhouse. This route will also be 'O' signed from Walkington crossroads.

Parking will be on the left (NW) verge of Walkington Road, starting after approx. 100m from the left turn. When parking, keep within 15m of the roadside and visualise a 'slip-proof' exit before parking. We are required to use the left verge by the Beverley Pasture Masters who manage the Westwood and from whom we require permission to hold this event.

Please DO NOT PARK on Walkington Road, or the right (SE) verge, or in the golf club's car park.
